MP-Jet gearboxes are all-metal, inline, planetary gearboxes from the Czech Republic for ferrite motors. They fit directly on to the front of 400 type motors making a very slim profile which is ideal for glider fuselages. The other benefit is that they are very economically priced.

The gearboxes construction is mostly metal; the body is bar stock CNC machined from aluminium alloy. The gear ring with teeth on the inside is injection moulded from glass filled nylon. The three gear wheels that are the planetary cogs are produced from nitrocarburised steel, which is an exceptionally high tech. form of case hardening. Altogether, a quality product at an exceptional price.
