Great Planes EP PBY Catalina Seaplane ElectriFly supplies everything needed to complete assembly in as little as ten hours — including a generous hardware package, two props, prop adapters, machined aluminum prop hubs and photo-illustrated instructions. Two spare bubble observation canopies are also provided. In addition to the prebuilt main structures of high-quality fiberglass and wood — factory-finished in an attractive scale trim scheme — the PBY Catalina ARF includes this handy cradle that’s ideal for shoreside model maintenance. This easy-access hatch on the top of the PBY Catalina ARF fuselage provides quick access to the battery compartment for pack installation or removal. A LiPo flight battery offers the high voltage and low weight needed for exceptional flight performance. The PBY Catalina packs a lot of performance into its small size. Twin out-runner brushless motors provide a great power-to-weight ratio for effortless water takeoffs.

The hand-crafted fiberglass hull, molded ABS tip floats, and removable water rudder provide excellent handling on the water during taxiing, takeoff, and landing. A rubber plug in the fuselage allows easy water drainage if needed (a spare plug is also included).
